The Exaicon of Catherine Blake< no role > wife of James
Blake
< no role > lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in
the County of Middx taken the 3d. day of Octr. 1739
Who upon her Oath Saith that she Intermarryed
with the above named James Blake< no role > abt. Twenty
two years since and that her sd. Husband before
his Intermarryage with this Exaiant lived a Yearly
hired Servt . with Sr. Simon Harcourt< no role > in Norfolk
Street in the sd. Parish of St. Clemt. Danes for the
Space of three Years & upwards at the Yearly Wages
of Six Pounds and this Exaiant further Saith that her
sd. Husband never rented Ten Pounds a Yeare paid
Parish Taxes or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in
any other place to her knowledge or beleife that
her sd. Husband is a Soldier in Plymouth Garrison
& she being poor is not able to maintaine herselfe
