Informations of Witnesses taken
this 2d Feby 1797 in the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square in the
House of Dennis Taylor< no role > the Sign
of the Bull Head in Stretton Street
Piccadilly before Anthony Gell< no role >
his Majesty's Coroner for the said
City and Liberty touching the Death
of Joseph Reyton< no role > then and there
lying dead as follows, to Wit.

No 9 Cleyes Street Piccadilly
Jane Lewis< no role > Cooke to Lady Pembroke being
sworn deposeth that she has known the deceased
for a considerable time and that he has been
afflicted with a [..] for 12 months
last past that he was Servt. to Lord Pembroke
at No 9 in Arlington Street and was left to
take care of his Lordship's house the Family
being out of Town and he the only Person
left in the house that on Tuesday morning
last it was reported that divers Persons had
knocked at Lord Pembroke's Door which
was not opend to any one and that the said
Joseph Leyton< no role > had not been seen since the
Sunday Night Preceding whereupon
this Deponent ordered one Wm. Shrieve< no role >
