Cause this Deponent cannot tell
that about nine o'Clock this Morning
this Deponent went with an Intention
to Breakfast with the deceased as usual
and upon opening the Room Door she
observed the Curtain of the Window which ponds the door drawn close
[..] and the deceased sitting with
her back towards the Window
whereupon she ran into the next Room
to Mr. Reynolds Daughter and said she
believed the deceased had hanged herself
and being both frightened they ran down
Stairs and acquainted Mr. Reynolds
with the Circumstances who went up
Stairs directly and farther this
Deponent sayeth not

John Reynolds< no role > the Lanlord of No. 9 in Green
Street being sworn deporeth that assoon as
soon as Mrs. Susanna Crittenden< no role > and his
Daughter had told him what had happened
above Stairs, he and his Son Mr. Ansell a Lodger
a Lodger in the first Floor all went up Stairs
immediately into the Room of the deced
when they found her with her Back
towards the Window and hanging by her
Garters and bad of which was fastned
round her neck and the other End of
her said Garters were lied to a price of
small Cord which was fastned round
the Window Curtain Rok whereupon
this Deponent got a Knife & cut her
down and run immediately to Mr.
De Brayn Surgeon in North Andley
Street who returned immediately with
this Deponent and further this
Deponent sayeth not

and upon examing the Body of the deced there
