fourth day of June 1796 in the Parish of
St. Martin in the Fields at the House of John
Luttell

his Majesty's Coroner for the sd City and
Liberty touching the Duth of
then and there lying dead
as follow
To Wit.

William Liptrott< no role > one of the Watchman belonging to Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields being sworn deporeth that
on Saturday Night but (the 2d. Inst.) about [..] ty
pa [..] as he was going his Rounds crying the hour
of tea he found the deceased laying on his right Side
on the Foot patch on the East Side of Leicester Square
with his right Leg stratched out and his left Leg
doubted, and imagining he was drunk and a [..] this
Deponent should him and said Friend get [..]
time for you must by here light he near [..]
and still thinking he was drunk or [..] he contr
-nine this [..] and then returned and found him
in the said Situation and [..] some other Persons
came by and this Deponent then put his hand to his
Lips which were quit sold and he then devoured
that he was quite died, and he then desired a Proper
to take care that no one took away his that &
whilst he went to the Watch house and there
