An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at the Work house belonging to the Parish of St. John the Evangelist Westmr. in Dean Street within the said Parish
Within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the fourth day of March 1793 in the Thirty third
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great- Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, Before Anthony

View of the Body of a New born Female Infant Child unknown then and there lying dead, upon

good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Female Infant Child came to
h er Death, do upon their Oath say that the said New Corn Female Infant Child
unknown on the Second day of February in the Year aforesaid
at the Parish and in the Liberty aforesaid to Wit, in a
certain place there called the Actillens Place was found
dead, that the said Female Infant Child unknown had
no Marks of Violence appearing on her Body, but how or by
what Means the said Infant Child came to her Death
no Evidence thereof doth appear to the said Jurors

In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroners, as the said Jurors, have to this Inquisition
set their Hands and Seals the Day Year & Place first
above written
