Deponent to he Ill through the effect of the cold
the Watchman said they would not taken him in
Deponent went to the Watch House and the Watchman
came soon after, and desired the Deceased might he
brought there which was accordingly done

on his Oath smith that on Wednesday Morning last
about seven oClock having been out for about eight
Minuters, on his return found the Deceased laying on
the Floor in the Watch Housethe Watchmen being then
comnip in, Deponent thought the Deceased would he ury
much in the way, and he Ordered him to he taken down
below, the place below is warmed with Fire Stoves,
and as the Deponent thought the Deceased was in Liquor
and had no apprehension of Illeness, Persons intoxicated
in frequently put there to sleep themselves sober, of
he had thought otherwise he would have got him sent
in a Chair to the Workhouse Deponent way relewed
at eight o'Clock and went to a Funeraland William

acquainted by the Deponent, that Bellows was
below (meaning the Deceased) Drunk, andmustwhen

Jonathan Bradley< no role > one of the Bedels of St. James's
Parish or his Oath saith That he way in the Watch
House on Wednesday last, he way applied to between
6 and 7 o Clock by the Lorndlord of the French Henry
Public House saying three was a Morn lying by his
House, as was not fit to lye there, and desired he
might he taken into the Watch House, three on
four Watchmen then entering Deponent told them
to go and fetch the Man, he was brought and
Deponent Knowing the Moon and beleiving he was
as he had after seen him, much in Liquor, ordered
him to he laid down on the Floorall the Watchmen
then coming in, the Watch House keeper thought
it proper and more safe if the Deceased was taken down as that way
