Information taken this Thirtieth day of
December 1790 at the Parish of St. Clement Danes
within the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching the
death of Mary West< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty & County.

Christian Hatfield< no role > late Servant to Mary West< no role >
a Lodger at Mr. John Nash< no role > in Stanhope Street
in the Parish of St. Clement Danes Westmr. Taylor
on her Oath Saith That she has lived about
a fortnight with the Deced, Says that
Dept. went out on Tuesday, Evening last
the Twenty eighth Instant [..] Seven
o'Clock, went into Satisbury Court and
returned before Eight o'Clock That she
left the Deced sitting in a Chair at
some Distance from the Fire when she
went out, and on her return found the
Deced lying down with he Hand close
to the fire and her Cloaths Smothered
and smoaking the Deced being burt
in many parts of her Body and the
Deced being dead Says that she left the
Deced alone in the Room when she went
out, and believes that the Deced Accidentally
fell out of the Chair into the Fire,

lodged with Dept. about a fortnight Says
that about Eight o'Clock on Tuesday Evening
last this Dept. was alarmed by the Deced
