Informations taken this Third day
of September 1788 at the Parish of St.
George Hanover Square within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the
death of John Burgan< no role > lying dead in
the said Parish Liberty and County.

Andrew Bright< no role > a Carpenter Journeyman
to the late John Burgan< no role > the Deced on his Oath
saith That one Friday last the twenty ninith day
of Augt. last this Dept. was in the Deced's Shop
in South Street in the Parish of St. George
Hanr. Square where the Deced was likewise
Says that the Deced went from Dept. and
was going down Stairs, and Dept. heard
Deced fall down upon the Stairs upon,
which Dept. went to Deced and found the
Deced lying there with his Head downwards
Says that Dept. called Assistance and lifted
the Deced up, Says that the Deced bled from
a Wound near the left of the Head, and had
two Bruises besides Say, that a Surgeon
was fetched who bled the Deced, he being
intensible Says that the Deced died upon
the thirtieth of August Says that the Deced
appeared to be wall before he reced the
fall, and beleives that the fall was Accidental
