Informations taken this Fifteenth
day of August 1776 at the Parish of St. Paul
Covent Garden within the Liberty of Westmr.
in the County of Middlesex upon an Inquisiton
touching the death of the Honourable John
Damer Esqr . Lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

John Robinson< no role > at the Bedford Arms Tavern
in Covent Garden in the Parish of St. Paul
Covent Garden Vintner on his Oath saith, That
Yesterday between Seven & Eight o'Clock in
the Evening he received a Note from the
Honble John Domer< no role > Esqr . the Deced, directing
Dept. to Prepare a Supper for him, to be
ready at ten o'Clock Bernet some Ladies
& Particularly a little Miss Richmond that
Sings, & Which Note Dept. believes to be of the
Dept. distrand Writing, and to be wrote in
a confused Manner, not like his usual
Manner of Writing, the Dept. having reced
Several Notes from Deced before, Says that
a Little after Eleven o'Clock Deced came there
and Supped in Room on the First Floor
with four Women; Burnet a Blind
Fedler being in the Room Playing on the
Violin, Says that the Deced Eat very little
if any, Says that the Women Sing after Supped and
Staid with the Deced until about three
o'Clock this Morning, when Deced ordered
this Dept. to tell the Women to go out of the
Room
