Informations of Witness taken this 25th, day
of August 1773 , at the Parish of St, George Hanover
Square in the Liberty of Westminster , at the House
of Mr. William Mansfeild< no role > the Sign of the Coach and
Horses in Mount Street . Before Thomas Prickard< no role >
Gentleman His Majesty's Coroner for the said City
and Liberty touching the Death of William Whitcome< no role > [..]
an Infant then and there lying Deed as follow

Jane [..] Whitcome< no role > the Mother of the Deced Child on her Oath
says that on Monday last about 3 o'Clock in the Afternoon she way
Sitting in her Room in the Willow Walk in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square and the Child was by her Playing, the Child went about
to the Neighbours Houses as it usually did, she cooked out and saw
it Mr Burck's Door 2 & 3 door [..] off, she then a little white ofter,
looked again and did not see it, she then went to the Neighbours
Houses to Engrone and to Several other Places about the Willow Walk [..]
but could not hear any thing of it, but after some time [..] mr Birch [..]
assisted her in searching the Ditch which Jury along the Sd. Walker
and the Child was forund Drowned at some little Distance from
the Deced's House, and the Deponent belevies it [..] in accidentally
