Informations of Witnesses taken this 23d. day
of August 1773 , at the Parish of St, James in the
Liberty of Westmr , at the Dwelling House of Mr,
Barran the Sign of the Golden Lyon in lower
King Street . Before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman
His Majesty's Coroner for the said City and Liberty
touching the Death of Elizabeth Grady< no role > then and
there lying Dead as follow

Catherine Berwn< no role > of Angel Cant St. James's on her Oath Says that
on Friday last [..] about a quarter before 12 she was in her
own Room up 2 pair of Stains, and law the Deced come up
Stains with some Cloathes in order to go in the Leads of the House [..]
to lang them out to Day, in a very few [..] she heard a
Norse, and then she understood that the Deced had fell from the
Leads into the Court, says there was fair Chair Pobes that was
laid or pecies of wood for the Ballnstrod, says there was no
Breart Rail, that she imagines the Deced in her hanging the
