Verdict of the Jury touching the Death of Joseph Smart< no role >

That the said Joseph Smart< no role >
not being of Sound Mind Memory and
Understanding but Lunatic and Distracted on the 7th, day of August 1773
at the Paris of St. Anne in the Liberty of Westmr
, [..] a certain Pistol
charged with Jump powder and a Leadon Pullct which he the said
Joseph Smart< no role >
then & [..] had and held in his right hand to and
against the right side near the Belly of him the said Joseph Smart< no role >
did then and
there shoot oft and Discharge by means whereof he the said Joseph
Smart< no role >
did then and there give unto himself with the Leaden
Bullet aforesaid do Discharged and shat out of the Pistol aforesaid
by the force of the [..] powder of or said in and upon the right lide
of him the said Joseph Smart< no role >
one Mortal [..] mornd of the Pheedth of,
half on inch and depth of his inches or more of which said
mortal Wormd he the said Joseph Smart< no role >
in the Space of One
Hour Died. And so the Jurors on their Oath say that the said
Joseph Smart< no role >
not being of [..] Memory and Understanding
but Lunstick & Distracted in manner and by the means aforesaid
did Kill himself. In Witness whereof the Foreman on behalf [..]
himself and the wet of the Jurors has hereunto set his Land this
18th, day of August 1773
