Informations taken this 25th. day of October
1764 at the Parish of St. Margaret within
the City and Liberty of Westmr in the County of
Middlesex ,an on Inquisition taken on View
of the Body of Edward Pearce< no role > lying Dead in the
said Parish City Liberty and County.

Matthew Hagston< no role > Servant to Mr. Bourdorf on Mill
Bank in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist Sugar refiner
on his Oath saith That being in his Master's Stable in the
three Compass Yard, in the said Parish dressing his Masters Mor [..]
on Saturday Morning last between six and seven O' Clock
Says that the Deced Edward Pearce< no role > was at the same time in
the adjoyning stable belonging to Mr. John Woodward< no role > whom [..]
Deced served Says that Deced spoke to Deponent out of the
adjoyning Stable, and Dept. afterwards heard Deced speak to
his Master's Horses in the Stable where he was, Says that
about five Minutes after said Mr. Woodward [..] went to his
Stable with [..] Corn says that said Mr. Woodward immediatly
Cryed out Ned Ned, I am afraid the Horse has Killed him
upon which Dept. run to Mr. Woodward's Stable Door and
saw the Deced in Mr. Woodward Arans, says the Deced bled
very much at the forehead , that Mr. Woodward desired the
Dept. to call some Carpenter's that worked near, which Dept.
did, and three Carpenters immediatly come, Says that
Mr. Woodward and one of the Carpenters carried the Deced
out of the Deced untill Mr. Woodward came there, and says that
he was not there before that time, Says that he came with
Mr. Woodward last Night to the Westmr Hospital, where he saw
the Deced that he said there about a quarter of an hour bur
Deced was asleep all that time.

John Woodward< no role > of three Compass Yard in the Parish of St. John
the Evangelist Westmr. Stable keeper on his Oath saith that
on Saturday Morning last about a Quarter after Six o Clock
Dept. went into his Stable in said Yard and found the Deced
there, says that Deced had then drefred three of the Horses, on
was dressing the fourth, Says that he this Dept. went to fetch
