in the County of Middlesex

to wit.

An Inquisition Indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord the King at
the Parish of St. George Hanover Square , within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the
Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westminster , in the County of Middlesex , the Twenty fourth day of
October in the Fourth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Great
of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth , before
Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman , Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty
on View of the Body of Thomas Height< no role > then and there lying Dead, upon the Oath of
William Gibson< no role > , Thomas Thompson< no role > , John Mc.Laughlin< no role > Thomas Lee< no role > , Adam Digby< no role >
John Perry< no role > ,Thomas Heyre< no role > , Michael Artis< no role > , Thomas Dyer< no role > , Martin Waddington< no role > ,
William Skeat< no role > , Henry Haymow< no role > , and Thomas Gray< no role > good and Lawful Men of the said Liberty duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to Inquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Thomas Height came to his Death, do
upon their Oath say, that on the Twenty third day of October in the Year aforesaid, the said
Thomas Height being Driving a Certain Cart drawn by three Horses in a certain Street or
Publick Highway called Oxford Road , near unto the Turnpike called Tyburn Turnpike , in
the Parish aforesaid within the Liberty and County aforesaid, And the [..] other Persons
were then driving other Carts and Carriages in the said Publick Highway, And the said
Thomas Height being Inta [..] and in Liquar, It [..] that the said Thomas
Height fell down upon the Ground in the said Publick Highway, and that a Wheel
belonging to one of the said Carts or other Carriages then and there Accidentally Casually
and by Misfortune, did pass over the right side of the Head of him the said Thomas Height
by Means whereof he the said Thomas Height did then and there receive one Mortal
Fracture on the right side of his Head, of which said Mortal Fracture he the said Thomas
Height on the same day did Dye, within the Parish Liberty and County aforesaid. And so
the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid, do day, That the said Thomas Height in
Manner and by the Means aforesaid Accidentally, Casually, and by Misfortune, came to
his Death, and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner, as the
said William Gibson< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the rest of
his said Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals
the Day Year and Place first above written
