Day of May 1762 upon an Inquisition
on the Body of George Dyer< no role > lying dead
at the parish of Saint George Hanover
Square in the Liberty of Westmr . and County
of Middx.

Benjamin pearse< no role > Servant to the Honble
Charles Townsend< no role > of Grosvenor Square
in the said Liberty Esqr. on his Oath Saith
that on Monday last Deponent was walking
in Hide park he saw the deced riding round
a Ring in the park, on House back, says
that the Horse [..] was on full Speed, and the
deced quitted his Stirrups in order as Dept.
believes to throw himself off, says he was
thrown upon the Neck of the Horse and there
hanged Sometime the Horse still proceeding
on full Speed, says be observed the deced to
fall from the Horse's Neck to the Ground
upon the Gravel with great violence upon
his Head says the Horse ran away and
Depont. went directly to deced says that
be lay motionless on the Ground, the bruised
part of his Face being next The Ground, says
be raised the deced upon his Breech, and observed
that a Hole was out behind his right Ear at
which be bled; says he was speechless says
be sent for assistance to get the deced tothe
Hospital
Saint George's Hospital when he
believes the deced was accordingly carried but
has not seen the deced since he was carried
there. says the Horse was of a lay Colour
but he knows not to whom it belonged.
