Order for Removal of SIXTY Female Convicts to be put on board
the Surprise under orders for New South Wales . Mr. Shelton empowered to Contract Etc.

Whitehall 7 February 1794

His Majesty having been pleased to give directions that Sixty female Convicts under Sentence of Transportation in
the Gaol of Newgate whose Ages do not exceed 40 Years should be removed from thence on board the Ship Surprise now
lying in the River Thamas and Committed to the Charge of Mr. Patrick Campbell< no role > Master of the said Ship I am Commander
to signify to you the Kings pleasure that you do cause the said Convicts if upon being examined by an experienced Surgeon
they shall be found free from any putrid or infectious distemper to be removed on board the said Ship in order that they
may be Severally Transported

Collier, John Fox< no role > Henry Boxer< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. , Archibald Quinton< no role > , Samuel Rousewell< no role > , Thomas Whellum< no role > , Thomas Miller< no role > and Thomas North< no role > received Sentence of death
for the respective Offences in their Several Indictments mentioned Now it is hereby ordered that Execution of the said Sentence be made
and done upon him the said Samuel Rousewell< no role > On Wednesday next the twelfth day of March at the place of Execution before His Majestys
Gaol of Newgate And it is His Majestys Command that execution of the said Sentence upon them the said Joshua Daniels, Thomas Bruce< no role > ,
