Mary Farley< no role > of pye Street in the Parish of Saint
John the Evangelist within the City and Liberty of Westmr.
Victualler and Widow maketh oath and saith that on or
about the 16th. day of July 1793 she this Deponent entered
into a Recognizance at the public Office in Quden Square
Westminster to prosecute at the then next Quarter Session
of the Peace for the said City and Liberty One George Barrett< no role >
for stealing a Linden pocket Handkerchief of the Value of
Ten Pence her property - That she this Deponent being
entirely ignorant of the forms of Law and of the steps
necessary to be take to being the said George Banett< no role > to
punishment & believing that she should of receive some
Instructions from the Magistrate who took her Recognizance
wholly omitted to prosecute the Law with Effect agt.
the said George Barrett< no role > at the said Session sd. who was
thereupon discharge by the Court - And this Deponent
further saith, that it was for no other reasons whatever
than those abovementioned that she omitted to proceed against
the said George Barrett< no role > for the Felony aforesaid.

Sworn in Court this 24th.
