THE Examination of Martha Tonkiss Singleman
Aged 22 years a
Rogue and Vagabond apprehended by Thomas Jones< no role >
in the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square in the
Liberty of Westminster and brought before me one
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty
aforesaid. And taken before
me this Ninth Day of October One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty Sevenit is the Your of our Lord 1767This Examinant On her
Oath said That she lived with Joseph Beller< no role > a
Collier in the Parish of Darlingston near
Wolnerhampton in the County of Staffords One
whole Year and upwards and hard 50s a year
Wages since learning the said Service she has
not lived ayear in any other nor Rented
any House & That bang in distness was begging in as
Parish of Saint George Hanover Square aforesaid
