There being severalusefulpublic Orders of Session of real Use within Etc. this City Liby written in the
3 Books of standing orders of Court markd [..] with ye first letters of ye Alphabet in respected with other Orders
of temporary Use only & become obsolete & of no further Use which standg Orders if Selected & put
into one Collection or digett might be render'd more conspicuous & useful& was
to his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this City & Libty. It is Ordered that it be and it is hereby recomended &
referred to Sr. J Fielding Knt . Sr . Henry Cheere< no role > Bart . and such
other of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for this City & Libty
as a Comce to Inspect or [..] the books of Public Orders of the Sessions for
this City & libty and to extract such of them as shall they [..] be
useful to be selected as Standing Orders & put into one Collection or Digest [..]
for the ready use of the Court and to make a Collection
for that Purpose with all Convent speed and Mr Jas.
Jefferson the Deputy Clk of the Peace is desired to lay
the sd. Books before the sd Justices for the purpose
of making such Inspection&revisal & Collection.
