The King
against
Robert Butler< no role > }

George Rhodes< no role > of Grays Inn in the County of Middlesex
Gentleman maketh Oath and saith that he knows the said Defendant
Robert Butler< no role > And that he the said Robert Butler< no role > lately was Servant to Sir
John Morgan< no role > and hath for a considerable Time last past been Servant to
General Stanwix and now is Servant to him in the Character of a Coachman
as this Deponent believes And this Deponent further saith that the Regiment
whereof the said General Stanwix hath the Command being in Ireland the
said General on Account thereof or some other Account did in or about the
Month of May last past leave this Kingdom and go to Ireland and that he
the said General Stanwix took the said Robert Butler< no role > his Servant over with
him into Ireland and the said General and his said Servant Robert Butler< no role > now are in Ireland and are expected to return from thence at or about
Michaelmas next as this Deponent hath been informed and believes to
be true And this Deponent further saith that the said Robert Butler< no role > hath
directed him this Deponent to defend the said Indictment preferred against
him the said Robert Butler< no role > at the Instance of William Clifton< no role > and Young< no role >
Piggott and that the said Robert Butler< no role > doth intend to plead to and try
the Traverse on the said Indictment upon or soon after his return to this
Kingdom as he hath informed this Deponent and this Deponent believes
to be true
