We the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Martin in the
Fields within the Liberty Westminster in the County of Middlesex Do hereby
Certify That Francis Heydon< no role > of the said Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
Chairman hath given sufficient Security to Indempnify our said Parish from the
Charges which arose on Account of the lying in of Margaret Williams< no role > Singlewoman
and the Maintenance of the Female Bastard Child born of her Body in our said
Parish on the Ninth day of October last past And do Consent and Desire that he
may be discharged from the Recognizance in which he stands bound to Answer the
Complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of our said Parish for
begetting the abovesaid Margaret Williams< no role > with Child as she mad Oath
