To wit. Tothe Gabriel Pilkington< no role > One of the Constables of
the Parish of Saint Margaret Westmr. in the County
of Middx to receive and convey;
And to the Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, or Over-
seers of the Poor of the Parish of Lee
in the County of Essex
or either of them, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Thomas Grace< no role > aged Forty Four
Years was
apprehended in the said Parish of St. Margaret Westmr.
as a Rogue and Vagabonds - and brought before Me One
of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for this City and Liberty
and upon Examination of the laid Thomas George< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, it doth appear that he is a
Rogue and Vagabond - within the True Intent and Meaning of
the Statute in that Case made and provided, and that the place of
the last legal Settlement of the sd. Thomas Grace< no role > and his
Wife Elizabeth and their Three Children Namely Johanne< no role >
aged near 13 Years Thomas< no role > aged 5 Years and John< no role > aged
upwards of two Years to be in the sd. Parish of Lee in Essex

These are therefore to require you the said Gabriel Pilkington< no role >
to convey the said Thos. Grace< no role > his Wife & their Three Children in the next
direct way to the said Parish of Lee in Essex

and there to deliver them to some Church-warden
Chapel-warden or Overseer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law ; and you the said
Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, and Overseers of the Poor are
hereby required to receive the said Persons and provide for
them as aforesaid. GIVEN under my Hand and Seal this
29th Day of April in the Year of our Lord one
Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty One
