Upon reading the humble peticon of Francis Burges< no role > Master or
Governour of the House of Correccon att Tothill Feilds in this Liberty
Chibited unto this Court thereby shewing that most of the Blocks in the
Work Shop belonging to the said house of Correccon were broken and Worn
Out so that there were not a sufficient member for the prisoners comitted
to the said prison to Work att, And that were also wanting eighteen
Irons called Bazills, three dozen of Rivetts and eighteen pair of Handcuffs
for securing and safe keeping the unruly and dangerous prisoners comitted
to the said prison from making their escape And that there were several
repairs wanting and necessary to be done to the prisoners lodging room
Work Shop Warehouse And the little rooms in the Yard where the
prisoners sett to Clean & refresh themselves after they had done their
labour) It was therefore prayed that this Court would be pleased to
take the same into their consideracon and order a View and
examinacon to be taken of the premes and such order to be made
therein, for providing the said Blocks and other matters And for
making good the defects of repairs aforesaid as to the Court should seem
meet), It is therefore thought fitt and ordered by this Court that
