In Pursuance of the order of Referrance hereunto Annexed
We Thomas Woodcock< no role > Gideon Harvey< no role > and Edward Galloway< no role > Esqrs.
three of the References therein named do hereby Certifie to the Court
that we have mett Severall times at the house of Correction for
this Liberty and veiwed and Examined into the matters thereby
to us (Amongst others) referred and taken the Advise &
Assistance of the workmen usually imployed in the repairs of the
Sd. house of Correction And find the Allegacons Contained in the
Peticon of the Present Governour of the Sd. house of Correction
touching the premes to be true and that there are Eighteen new
Clocks wanting in the work house there to Keep the prisoners att
Worke and Labour And that Severall Other Repairs & matters
are wanting & necessary to be done & provided in & to the Sd. house
of Correction An Estimate of the Particulars and Charge thereof
is hereunto annex'd

And we recomend it to the Court that the Clerke who attended
up upon this Occassion be allowed one Guinea for his trouble &
Attendance upon Us & Drawing up & Ingrossing this Report white
wee are Informed has been usually Allowed, All which was
Submitt to the consideration & Judgmt. of the Court Dated under
our hands this 30th. Day of September Anno Dni 1731 .
