This Maties Justices of the Peace in Quarter Session Assembled.

In Pursuance of the Order Referrence made at the last
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace held for this Liberty upon the humble Petition of
Lawrence Randall< no role > Master or Governor of the House of Correction for this said Liberty hereunto
Annexed, We whose Names are hereunto Subscribed Four of his Maties Justices of the Peace
for this said Liberty to whom amongst others or any three of Us it was recommended and
referred to meet at the said house of Correction and see and Examine what repaires were
necessary to be done for the same, for the better Strengthning and Securing the said Prison and
other matters wanting to be provided for keeping to Work and Labour the Prisoners committed
to the said Prison, Do hereby Certifie that we have met accordingly & View'd the said house
of Correction & taken an Account of the Defects of the necessary repairs to be done to the same
and other matters wanting to be provided for the keeping the Prisoners there to work and
Labour, and considered of the Matters thereby to Us referred, and are of Opinion that such
repairs are absolutely necessary& ought to be forthwith provided & done to the sd.
house of Correction as are particularly menconed & set forth in the respective Estimates hereunto
also Annexed for the use and Service of the said Prison at the Charge of the Inhabitants
of this said Liberty. And Wee have taken the Advise and Assistance of able Workmen
usually employed about the repairs of the said Prison, who have Examined & view'd the said
Defects of repairs and taken an Accounts of what other matters are wanting to be provided
for the use and Service of the said Prison and made an Estimate of the Charg [..]
