Donation.


The Clerk acquainted the Court that since the
last Court the following Donation had been
received from a Governor of this Hospital
Vizt.

Mr. Thomas Poynder< no role > . His Gift.£50..-..-

Subscriptions were recommended by the Treasurer
towards defraying the great expences of this Hospital.

The Treasurer acquainted the Court that the
immediate occasion of calling the same was to choose
an Assistant Physician pursuant to the resolution of
of the last Court

Whereupon the Court proceeded to such choice and
the Petitions of Doctor William Lister< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. and Doctor
Thomas Tomson< no role > were then read praying to be
elected such Assistant Physician after which Mr.
Harrison acquainted the Court that he had authority
from Doctor Tomson to withdraw his Petition
he being unwilling to trouble the Court at this time
in hope of their favor on a future occasion.

William Lister< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.

Whereupon his Petition was with drawn
accordingly and Doctor Lister being then the only
Candidate was unanimously chosen Assistant.
Physician during the pleasure of this Court upon the
terms mentioned in the before mentioned Resolution and
he was called in and acquainted with his Election
and the terms thereof.
