Report of Grand
Committee.


We the Grand Committee appointed for the
management of the affairs of this Hospital do
report our proceedings therein since the last Annual
General Court held the 27th. day of July 1796.

Leases


We have granted Leases to the following
Persons Vizt.

Mr. Robt. Thompson< no role >


To Mr. Robert Thompson< no role > of two houses in the Borough High
Street the corner of Pepper Alley (held by him under a Lease granted
to John Ramsbottom< no role > which expired at Lady day 1797) for a term
of 21 Years from that time at a Rent of £70 Pr Annum clear
of the land tax and all other taxes and outgoings Mr. Thompson
to repair to the satisfaction of the Hospital Surveyor and to
insure at such a Sum as the Surveyor shall think Proper.

To Mr. William Watson< no role > of a house in the Borough
High Street held by him under a lease granted to Susanna
Dud bridge
< no role > which will expire at Michaelmas 1799 at a Rent of
£10 Pr. Annum clear of the land tax and all other taxes) for a
term of 21 Years from the expiration of such Lease at a Rent of
£52..10. Pr. Annum clear of the land tax and all other taxes
and outgoings Mr. Watson to put the Premises in repair to the
satisfaction of the Hospital Surveyor previously to the grant of the
lease and to Keep and leave the same in repair and to insure at
such a Sum as the Surveyor shall direct.

To Mr. James Hibbert< no role > of a house in the Maze Southwark
(held by him under a lease granted with others to Joseph Townsend< no role >
which expired at Lady day 1796) for a term of 21 Years from that
time at a Tent of £30 Pr. Annum clear of the land tax and all
other taxes and outgoings Mr. Hibbert to expend £150 at least in
