was to lay before the Court the proceedings of the
President of this Hospital and himself
in conjunction with the Presidents and Treasurers
of the other Royal Hospitals under the orders
of the respective General Courts of the several
Hospitals relative to the Bill directed to be brot.
into Parliament for the establishing and
confirming the present acting Governors in
the management and Government of the
said Hospitals and to take the further
directions of the Court upon the present State
of that business and Treasurer accordingly acquainted
the Court that the Petition for leave to bring
the Bill into Parliament had been presented
and a draft of a Bill prepared and that there
had been several meetings with the Committee
appointed by the Common Council to manage
the dispute between the City and the Hospils
in order to endeavor finally and amicably
to adjust the several matters in Question
the result of which was the Settlement of
a draft of an agreement prepared with
the assistance of the Recorder and Common
Serjeant on behalf of the City and of the
Counsel engaged on behalf of the Royal
Hospitals, to be submitted to the consideration
of the Court of Common Counsel on the part
of the City and of the General Courts of
the several Royal Hospitals on the part
of the Hospitals; which draft was read
and is as follows. Vizt.
