Benefactions of the Governors It is the constant
Practice at every Genl: Court to recommend
Subscriptions
For which purpose his Lordship ord
ered the Clerk to attend the Governors present
with the Subscription Book which was accordingly

The said Sr Robt: Baylis was unan
imously elected to be President of this Hospital
in the room of Sr John Eyles Bart deced
And Sr Robt: Baylis being present was
pleased to accept the said Office
Moved that the thanks of this Court
be given the said Sr Robert Baylis for such his
acceptance which being unanimously resolved,
my Lord Mayor gave him thanks accordingly
