Grant to Hannah Bulpin


We have granted to Mrs Hannah
Bulpen
< no role > a Lease of the Houses & Stables in Blackman
Street (now in Lease to her) for 21 Years from Lady day
1747 when the present Lease will expire at £20..P Ann
clear Rent & £550 Fine. Some of the Houses wanting
great repairs, and she paying as large a Fine as we could
have expected if the whole Term had been expired

Eprant to James's Stare


We have granted to James Steere< no role > a Lease
of Nine Houses in Black & White Court in the Old
Baily , (late in Lease to Ann Bond< no role > ) for 51 years from
Lady day 1741 at £18 P Ann clear Rent & within the
first three Years he is to build five new Houses at least
on the premisses, and therein to lay out £500 at least

Hospitall bring deceased; We have chosen Sarah Swinston< no role >
to be Cook in her room during the pleasure of the
Grand Committee

bury the Patients that

We have appointed Mr Casbird the present
Minister of St Thomas's Parish to bury in the New
burying Ground the Patients that shall dye in this
Hospitall during the pleasure of the Grand Committee

Land there


The Hospital Estate at Hackney lying inter
mixed with other Lands, and some Dispute arising
thereupon: We appointed a Sub Committee of the Governors
living at Hackney to adjust the same. And the said
Sub Committee have taken a very exact Account of the
Quantity of Land each Tenant holds & where it lyes, and
have given Directions for Stakeing out all the Lands
belonging to this Hospital in the Marsh & Common
Fields; And for a new Mapp or Plann of ye said Estate
