Lease to John
Batchelor Esqr.


We have granted Leases to the following persons Vizt.
To John Batchelor< no role > Esqr . of a House in Mare Street
Hackney with the Outhouses belonging thereto and the
Court Yard in front and the Garden behind and half
the Field (saving fou feet in width Northward by the
whole length to preserve the row of Trees) lying behind
the Garden belonging to this House and the Garden of
the House adjoining held under Lease from the Hospital
by John Spiller< no role > Esquire in the occupation of Mr.
Gibson for a term of twenty one years from Lady day
1781 when both the above Leases will expire at a
rent of £36 Per Annum clear of the Landtax and all
other Taxes and to expend £206 in repairs.

To Mr. Gibson


To the above Mr. Gibson a Lease of the above
house in his occupation with the Outhouses belonging
thereto and the Court Yard in front and Garden
behind and the remainder of the above Field behind
this Garden and Mr. Batchelor's Garden not agreed
to be let to Mr. Batchelor for a term of 21 Years from
Ladyday 1781 when Mrs. Spillers Lease will expire at
a rent of £20 Per Annum clear of the Landtax and
all other Taxes and to expend £350 in repairs.

To the Grocer's
Company.


To the Grocer's Company a Lease of the Privilege
of Windows belonging to some houses of the
Company in Botolph Lane looking upon some
houses of the Hospital for a Term of thirty one
Years from Midsummer 1781 at £1..10. Per Annum
the former rent.

To Wm. Dunbar.


To Mr. William Dunbar< no role > a Lease of a house
in Finch Lane in his occupation (now on Lease to
John Reaby< no role > at £4 Per Annum) for a term of 21 Years
from Christmas 1780 when Mr. Reaby's Lease will
expire at a rent of £10 Per Annum clear of the
Landtax and all other taxes and Mr. Dunbar
to expend £95 in repairs within the first five Years
of the Term of his Lease.
