Grand Committee

We the Grand Committee appointed for
the management of the affairs of this Hospital
do Report our proceedings therein since the last
Annual general Court held the 28th. July 1779

We have granted Leases to the following
persons vizr.

Lease to David
Bland

To David Bland< no role > a Lease of the House
late in the possession of Benjamin Pike< no role > for the term
of 21 Years from Michlas 1779 determinable at the
and of the first seven or 14 Years at the yearly
rent of £21. Landtax to be allowed the Hospital
to Paint the premises every 7 years and the
Tenant to do all other repairs

To Wm. Cripps

To William Cripps< no role > a Lease of the
three houses now in his possession one on the
Southside of the Broad Way in Saint
Thomas's and Two behind the same for the
term of 21 Years from Lady day 1710 when
the Present lease expires at the clear
yearly rent of £25 to lay out £200 in
substantial repairs within two Years

To Josh. Spackman

To Joseph Spackman< no role > a Lease of the
Premises at Hackney now on Lease to
Abrahm Byde< no role > which will expire at Lady day
1781. for a Term of 51 Years from the expiration
of such Lease at the clear yearly rent of
£30 under a Covenant for granting an
additional term of 21 Years at the experent of
the first 21st yrs. on payment of £100 fine Mr. Spackman
