Subscriptions being recomended
by Mr: Treasurer towards defraying the great
Charge and Expence of this HospitalThe
following Sums were Subscribed. Vizt:

Mr: Samuel Freeman< no role > . £50.
Mr: John Stainbank< no role > .50.
Samuel Plumb< no role > , Esqr ;50.

Dr. Milner's
Resignation


Mr: Treasurer then acquainted.
this Court that the immediate occasion of calling
the same was to choose a Physician to this Hospital
in the Place of Dr : Thomas Milner< no role > , who has
Resigned.

Dr. Grieve
chose Physician


The Court Proceeded to the choice
of a Physician in the place of the said Dr: Milner
And the Petitions of Dr : James Greive< no role > and Dr : Hugh
Smith
< no role > were severally read Praying to be Elected one
of the Physicians to this Hospital. after which Dr:
Smith acquainted the Court that he desired to
withdraw his Petition being unwilling to trouble the
Court with ballotting for his this time in Hopes
of their Favour on a future occasion and his petition
was withdrawn accordingly. And then the said Dr:
James Greive (being the only Petitioner was Unani-
mously Chosen to the said Place, to hold the same
with the usual Salary thereto belonging during the
Pleasure of this Court. And he was called in and
Acquainted with his Election.
