The Orders and proceedings of the last Generall Court were
Read and Approved
The Treasurers Accompt for the year ending at Lady day 1722 haveing
been duely Audited was presented, approved, and allowed.
The Report from the Grand Committee of their proceedings
since the last Generall Court, was Read, as followeth (vizt)
To the Worshipll: the Generall Court of the Governors of
St. Thomas's Hospitall
In pursuance of the Order of the said last Generall Court: Wee have caused the
Gates of the Burying Ground in St: Thomas's parish
to be pulled off, and the Ground
laid open, And the poor Patients, and others dyeing in this Hospitall have ever Since
been Buryed there without any Interruption, and without any payment for the
use of the said Ground to the Parish; The said Ground being in disputably A Common
Buryingplace for the Officers and Poor dyeing in this Hospitall as well as of the
Inhabitants of the said Parish.
