And We have Agreed with John Airay< no role > , upholder to Lett him the Other of
the said Two New Houses which stands on the North Side of the said New Entrance
or Passage from Lady Day 1724. untill Six Months Notice shall be Given on
either side for Quitting the same At the Rent of a Pepper corne for the
first Quarter and afterwards at the yearly Rent of Sixty pounds Tax free
payable Quarterly The Lower Sashes of the Back Front next the Hospital
are to be fastened so as not to be used to Slide up And he is not to permit
any other Trade than what he now follows to be used in the said shop or
House without Leave from the Grand Committee of this Hospital.

We have Agreed with Mr. Cook an Apothecary Assignee of a Lease
made to Joseph Lyndall< no role > of one [..] of the Houses in Pater Noster Rowe
lately purchased as before mentioned in this Report of Mr. Treasurer to
Grant him a further Lease for Seven years of the same House according to
an Agreement for this purpose in the Present Lease under the same Rent
and Covenants as are contained in the said present Lease This New Lease
is to Commence from Christmas last and will thereby Expire at the same
time with the Leases of the other Houses near adjoyning which belonged to
the Hospital before this purchase was made.

Our present Worthy Treasurer having some time before Lady Day last
Acquainted us That for Several reasons relating to his Health and his own
private Affairs he intends to Resigne the Place of Treasurer at the next
General Court But We being Sensible of the many good Services which he
has done and might Still do for this Hospital Requested him wholly to waive
that Intention or at least to Deferr it for some time longer and gave him
our hearty thanks for all the good Offices he had performed and the great
Care and Pains which he had taken in the Affaires of this Hospital since
he became Treasurer Whereupon he returned his thanks to this Comittee
in particular and the Governors in General for their great Civilities and
respects at all times to him But desired that We would not insist on our
request for his Continuance for that he could not alter his Intention of
Retiring from the Business of the Hospital as Treasurer after the next
General Court

We Recommend it to this Court That a Gratuity of Ten Pounds may
be given to Mr. Hulton the Steward of this Hospital for his extraordinary
Trouble and Pains the last Year by reason of the great Increase of Patient

New Governrs.


We have Ordered Green Staffs to be Sent to the Several Gentlemen
after named as Proper Persons to be Governors of this Hospital Vizt.

We think it proper to be made a Standing Order of this Hospital That
upon the Letting of any New Lease of any of our Farmes or Lands in the Country
A Terrar thereof be required from the Tennant before the Lease be Delivered.

And lastly We are to Informe this Court That since the Drawing up of the
