to be Governrs . of this Hospll. Wee have Ordered Green Staffs to be sent

Abatemt of Henry

And Whereas the Reported to the last Genll.
Court That to had agreed with Henry Bamfeild< no role > to Grant him
a Lease of a peice of Ground in St. Thomas's parish for Fifty One
Yeares from Lady day 1706. at Eight pounds Sixteen Shillings P
Ann Rent, Upon which he was to Lay out the sume of £300. in
Building of Three or more Men Brick Houses within Two
Yeares after the Comencement of the said Terme, And the said
Henry Bamfeild< no role > having since made great Complaint to us
of the Hardshipp he lyes under in the sd. Agreement he having not
well considered the same before he agreed with us for the said Lease
and praying that he may be discharged from the sd. Agreement
or that an abatement may be made of Four & Forty shills P Ann
in the Rent, And he having severall times heard him thereupon
and Considered the Case are of Opinion that such abatemt. in the
Rent should be made to him if this Court shall so think fitt.

Grant.


And We have Agreed with Mr. Whalley to Grant him
a Lease of Two small old Tenements in the parish of St.
Thomas in southwarke lyeing neare the Two pumps One of
which Tenements is now in the possion of Mr. Traherne, and
the other Empty late in the possion of Mr. Hawkins for Fifty
One yeares from Xtmas 1706. at Four pounds Eight shill P ann
He is lay out Two Hundred pounds in Building of Two New
Brick Mesuages, Two Roomes on a Floore, withhim two yeares, and
is to have Liberty to begin to Build the Empty Houses late in Mr
Hawkins's Possion, as soon as he pleases, and to have the old
Materialls to his man Use.
