Wee have Agreed that Mr: Phipps Plaisterer Our [..] Tennant of a
House neare Hatchets Corner in St: Thomas's have Liberty Erect a Shedd
against the Hospitall Wall neare that Corner To Continue if for a Yeare
certaine and upon Quarters Warneing afterwards paying Tenn Shillings P Ann

Upon the humble Suite of te Widdow Brackley who is Mortgagee of
severall houses in St: George's parish Lett by Lease to Mr: James Long< no role > from whom
She hath lately taken an Assignement of the Equity of Redempcon and hath
paid downe the sume offor the Arreares of
Ground Rent And representing to Do that the Money soe paid being Added
to the principall and Interest due on the said Mortgage the same much
Exceeds the Value of the Houses and that the said Long is become Insolvent
And therefore praying that the Alienacon Fine which comes to Eleaven pounds Thirteen
Shillings and four pence night be remitted upon Consideracon had of this Case

Wee have Ordered that One halfe of the said Fine be remitted which
is Five pounds Sixteen Shillings and Eight pence.

It Appearing to this Committee that by Grant of King Edward the Sixth
The Church of St: Thomas was Appointed and Designed as well for Use
of the Ministers Officers and poor patients of this Hospitall as of the
Inhabitants of the said Parish of St: Thomas:

Wee have Ordered that the pew lately fitted upon the West side of
the Doore out of this Hospitall into the said Church be reserved for the Use
of the Treasur: of this Hospitall for the time being And that all the Powers
of the Chancell shall be reserved for the Use of the Governours of this Hospll:
and the Ministers and Officers belonging to this Hospitall; to be placed in
such manner as the Committee or Treasurer for the time being shall Think most
propper in that Behalfe And in regard some Questions have been made by the
parishionrs; touching our Right to this Priviledge and touching our Right to the
Two Vaults under the Church

Wee have Stated the Case upon the said Grant and taken the Advice of
Doctor Oldys thereupon who is very cleare in his Opinion that the Governrs:
have a Right not to be the seals [..] in the Chancell for the themselves
and Officers but that they may Appoint a Place in the Church for the poore patients
and may Place and Displace the Parishionrs: And that they have a Right to both
the said Vaults and may Dispose of them as they please And if the Permitt Buryalls
there may take reasonable Rates for the same And for the further satisfaccon of
this Court therein Wee Ordered the said Case and Opinion to be laid before
this Worshipfull Court with this Report and recomend the same as very fitt
to be Incerted with this Report in [..] the Reporting of the Proceedings of this Court
