The Report of the Grand Committee of their Proceedings since
the last General Court held the fifteenth day of June 1726. was read

of St. Thomas's Hospital

We the the Grand Committee appointed to manage the
affairs of this Hospital do Report our Proceedings therein
since the last General Court held the 15th. day of June 1726
to be as followeth Vizt

Grant to Wm. Harris< no role >
& Robert Harle}

We together with the Governours of St. Bartholomews and Bridewell
Hospital have Agreed with Mr William Harris< no role > and Robert Harle< no role >
to Grant them a Lease of Several Messuages or Tenements with
the Appurtences in Bell Yard in Southwark which belong to this an [..]
the said Two Hospitals in thirds for One and twenty Years from Michas
1728. when the present Lease thereof will expire At the old Ground rent
of £24. P Ann Tax free In Consideration of £1200. as a Fine to be
distributed equally between the said thre Hospitals £400. thereof to
be paid at the Sealing the Contract which hath been paid accordingly
and the remaining £800. on the delivery of the Lease

Grant to
Benjn. Franklyn< no role > }

We have Agreed with Benjamin Franklyn< no role > to Grant him a Lease
of two Houses in Fleet Lane in Possession of Mrs. Lawrence and
Mr. Spicer for 21. Years from Midsummer 1728. when the present
Lease will expire. at the yearly Rent of £10. tax free in
consideration of a Fine of £140. to be paid at the Sealing the
Contract which has been aid accordingly and of his repairing
the premisses at his own Costs within the first Year of the said
terme.

Robert Sharpe< no role > Administrator of William Sharpe< no role > deceased
our Tennant of Hellions Bumstead Farme in Essex for 21. years
from Michas 1725. having requested us to Accept of
Samuel Smith< no role > of Castle Camp for our Tennant of the same
Farme at and under the same rent and Covenants for the
residue of the said Terme We having informed our selves
of the ability of the said Samuel Smith< no role > have Agreed
thereto and Ordered that a Lease be granted to the said
Smith accordingly

Grant to
John Rabey< no role > }

We have Agreed with John Rabey< no role > to Grant him a new
Lease of a House in Finch Lane formerly lett to John Reeve< no role >
and his wife for 21. years from Christmas 1728. when the
present Lease will expire at the old Yearly rent of £4. tax
free in consideration of a Fine of two hundred Pounds which
has been duly paid and repairing the premisses at his own Charge

Grant to
William Baxter< no role > }

We have Agreed with William Baxter< no role > our Tennant of two
Houses in Finch Lane to grant him a new Lease thereof
for 21. Years from Christmas 1728 (when the present Lease
will expire) at the old Yearly rent of £9. tax free in consideracon
of a Fine of £350. which has been duly paid and repairing they
premisses at his own Costs.
