Sisters in every Ward of this Hospital to see that the same be duly taken care
of and kept in an House wifely manner and that no Imbezilment be made
thereof.

Increase of Watcher
Allowance


And also that the Watches Allowance of four pence p night be increased
to Six pence P night and that they have Bedding and such other necessary
Accomodations Provided for them in the House as the Treasurer shall think fit.

All which nevertheless We humbly Submit to the Judgment of this
Worshipfull Court.

Which Report was approved of by this Court and all the matters and things
therein contained were Ordered to be Observed accordingly And it was Ordered
that the said Report should be Entred in the Reportory of the Proceedings of
this Court.

Subscriptions being recommended by the President to the Court towards
Defraying the great Charge and expence of the Hospital Mr Percival Lewis< no role >
One of the Governours now Present Subscribed Fifty Pounds towards the same.

Chosen Steward }


The President acquainting the Court with the death of Mr. Joseph Hulton< no role >
their late Steward The Court Proceeded to the Choice of some fit Person to
succeed him And the Petitions of Saml. Gale< no role > and John Archer< no role > being
presented to this Court praying to be appointed Steward in the Stead of the
said Mr. Hulton And being severally read the said Samuel Gale< no role > was
Elected and Chosen and accordingly at this Court Admitted to the Office of
Steward of this Hospital To hold during the Pleasure of this Court with
the usual Salary and Perquisites He Observing all such Rules and Orders
as now are or shall hereafter be made by this Court or the Grand Comittee
in relation to the said Office all which he promised in Open Court to
Observe and Performe accordingly.
