he refused to make any Proposal for both the said
Houses.

The Comittee rejected Mr. Wilcock's Proposal being of
Opinion it would be best to Let both thesd. Houses
to One Tennant.

Hospitall Marks to be sett
on houses in London & the
Suburbs


Ordered that the Hospital Marks be set on all the
Hospitals Houses in London and the Suburbs on which
they are not already fixed.

Mr Trear to purchase £2000
S S or Inda bonds & indemnt


Mr. Treasurer Proposing to this Committee to
Purchase £2000. South Sea or East India Bonds with
Part of the Cash of this Hospital dead in his hands

Resolved that Mr. Trear do make such Purchase
accordingly and that he be Indemnifyed not only
with respect to the Purchasing the said Bonds But
also from all Casualties that may Attend them
after such Purchase made

A Petition to this Committee from Mr. Kettle Tennt.
of the Cellar under Mr. Airays House on the North
side of the Hospl. Foregate Praying leave to make
a Chinnay in the said Cellar was Considered and
Resolv'd that such Chimny would be inconvenient
and ought not to be Granted.

Minutes of last Grand Comittee read & Confirmed.

Mrs. Rebeccah Denham< no role > Tennt . of Two Houses near
St. George's Church in Southwark (the present Lease
whereof will expire at Michas 1728) Proposed to pay
the Old Ground Rent of Six Pounds P Ann Tax Free &
£100. Fine for a New Lease for 21. Years to Comence from
the expiration of the Lease now in being.

Mr. Joseph Ballard< no role > Undertennt . of One of the said Two
HousesProposed to take a Lease
of the said Two Housesat the Yearly Rent of £35.
Tax free for 21. Years to Commence from the expiration
of the said Old Lease and to put the said House into
substantial repaire at his own Charge Both which
Proposals were adjourned to the next Committee
and Ordered That the said Mrs. Denham & Mr Ballard
have Notice thereof that they may Amend their
proposals if they think fit.
