And that Mr. Trear Mr. Cooper Mr. Cole Mr. Malyn
Mr. Halsey & Mr. Mount or any Two of
them (Mr. Trear being One) shall be a
Sub Comittee for Managing the sd Building
and shall have power to Treat & Agree
with Workemen & to give all Necessary
Orders & Direccons for the Finishing &
Compleating thereof.

Minutes of last Grand Comittee Read
& approved.

Mr. Trear Reported from the Sub Comittee for
the Building of the Wards on the Northside of the
First Court, That they having considered whether those
Wards should be built with a Front Answerable
to the Wards on the South side or to the East
Front of that Court. And having considered the
great Inconveniencyes by too much Heat in
Sumer and Cold and Dampnesse in Winter
Which the Uppermost Ward on the South side is
lyable to in regard that the Roofe of that Ward
to Shelving and comes almost close to the
patients Bedds. They were of Opinion that these
New Wards should be Built with a Front
Answerable to the sd. East Front Whereby the
Uppermost Ward will have a Flat Ceiling with
a Dead Roofe, which will be much more Convenience
for patients and there will be a Left or Garrett
over the sd Upper Ward for Dryeing of Cloths &
other Uses Which Opinion being duely Considered.
by this Comittee was approved of And the sd Sub Comittee
are directed to Order the Building of those Wards
accordingly.
