Minutes of the Last Grand Comittee Read and Approved
Mr: Trear is desired to attend the Right Woppll. the Prendt. to pray That a
Generall Court may be appointed for Wensday next in the afternoone or a soon after
as he shall think fitt in Ordr. to choose a Matron in the roome of Frances Tall< no role >
deced

Mr: Trear acquainted this Comittee that Mr. [..] the Apothecary [..]
unwilling to accept the Gratuity of Ten Pounds & the go [..] Ann Ordered him by the last Comittee
and Desired he might be further heard touching the same by this Comittee

This Comittee being in formed That The pavements in the New Street
St. Thomas Parish are very Bad Ordered That the same be viewed
at the next Comittee.

Minutes of last Grand Comittee Read & Approved.

The Book Room was viewed by this Comittee who being
of Opinion That the Stewards house out of which That Roome
was taken in too Straight and not Sufficient for him and his family
and he having Requested this Comittee to say the said Roome
again into this house, This Comittee thereupon Ordered that the Roome
adjoyining to the Compting house of this Hospital, be made [..] for
the future and that a Book Roome, and forthwith fitted up for that
purpose. And that a Brick Arch be Turned in the [..] at the End of
that Room.

Mr: Mounts Brother is Defired to Sett out such Oake Trees in
and a Court Combe Forme in House (lately Lett to Mr: Swaine) not Exceeding
Five in number as he shortt Think necessary reward Repaires of the house and
Buildings And where on Mr. Swaine has Undertaken to now floor
the parlour and make [..] yt therein and Sufficiently to
Repaire all the rest of the floores, This Comittee Agrees that as
soon as the same are done he shall be Allowed five pounds towards
the charge terms by this Hospitall

in Southwarke near pepper Alley upon Lease for one and Twenty
Yeare Expiring at Lady Day 1713 at Twelve pounds P Ann Agreed
on behalfe of her said house and for a new Lease for one & Twenty
years from the Expiracon of that Lease at the old Rent of Twe [..]
pounds P Ann for a Fine of £80: Of which £40: is to be paid with
three D [..] at the signeing of the contract & the Remainder at
Michas next The Lease to be inside to her [..]
