Obliged by his Lease, to Build a New House
on the Uplands, was, that the sd Marsh Foot House
was then so very [..] much Decayed & Ruinous
that the Governor : thought it would not Auther the
Charge of Repairing, and that A New House might
be Built on the Uplands, which might Serve for the
Marsh Grounds as well as the Uplands; and
therefore the sd Mr: Collyer was not required to
repaire or Keeper up the sd Marshfort House,
which yet he did Repaire with great Charge, in
regard he found that his Cattle in the sd Marsh
Grounds could not be duely Lockt after without
that House,

And this Comittee being further informed by
severall of the Members now Present, Who have
been in former yeares andthisalso very lately
to View the New Wall made by the sd Mr. Collier
at his own Charge to Presence the sd Marsh Ground
from being Over Flown by the River of Thames
wherein he Expended Severall Hundred Pounds
That the sd Wall appears to bea Reall Se [..]
to the sd Marsh Groundswell made, and Continued
Firme, andis likewill in all probability be
a Reall & Lasting Security to the sd Marsh Grounds

This Comittee is of Opinion, That in Case
the sd Mrs: Collier Shall by Lady Day went, Put the
sd Farme House were Alvethley Church with the
Barns Stables & Outhouses thereunto belonging
into such good & Sufficient Repaire, and make such
Addicons to the same, as by this Comittee upon
a View thereof shall be thought needfull or
proppert And shall aslo Compleat the planting
of the Trees, according to the sd Lease,to the
[..] in such manner as shall be faliztar [..] to
this Comittee, she should be Discharged from the
sd Covnt : for Building the sd House on the
uplands, And that the same shall be Reported
