Mr Copy hold Estate of Mr Anthy. Wingfield< no role > at Bow , of which
you an the Tenant or Lesser has been sold by the Treasurer of their
Hospital (under a power of Att [..] from Mr Wingfield to Mr:
Coventry There is a year rent, Vizt £23..2due from your
the present Michaelmas which the Treasurer desired in to coll
upon you to pay at the Compling House, the desires you well
and me an early A [..] when it well be cer [..] ment to you to
bring it.

St. Thomas's Hospital 28 Sept 1799

A Letter was wrote you by the Treasurer of this Hospital
a Week ago, informing you that you an to pay to him the
half your Rent due this Michaelmas for the Premises you
held under Mr Anthy Wingfield at Stratford, & desiring you
would send him an Answer, when at would sent you to bring
it. As no Answer has been received from you, [..] this by
his Order to prep for one, & totall you that it will be at your
perel if you pay it any where but as the Comptg House of
this Hospital. Expectory your Answer

Your several Letters of the 28 Sepr. & 1st. Inss. to the Treasurer
two being duty received I doubt not but Mr Wa [..]
or Mr Smith in writing to you last week respectg [..]
has noticed her Abu [..] wheet well account to your for the
[..] wheel has been observed upon then. Your draft to
Messr. Wilhouse us has been [..] ned & placed to the Coal Sought
Account, & your seemed Letter I thoughts Acc [..] to for send to
the Treasurer in Ser [..] from whom I have received
the following Answer.

"Mr Chambers, Letter well your Poets [..]
"the £5. Junr gush at a loss what to advise about the Colliery
"any further than having is to Mr Chamber to do the best, & if
"£500 or £400 would enable us to week the Colliery I see no
"Objection to it. There seem no Reason to pay much
"Attention to the old Turant Mr Sus [..] on; ended one would
"be cautions of healthy will him. It may be prepare to in
"tenants to Mr Chambers there is no Prepare of any Governors
"coming down. You well shew her Letter to Mr Crownwell, & if
"Letter proper he may consult two or three Governors Mr.
