Mr. Dennis

The Governors: have been informed, That since Mr Trear and some other
Governors were last at Parndon, and took Notice to your Tenant of his
Selling Gravell out of thier Ground without any manner of Lycence
or Authority from them: And notwithstanding they actually forbid him
to digg or Suffer any more to be dugg or Carried away, A great
Quantity of their Gravell has been taken away by him or you, or
your or his Order; you your Selfe had the like Notice that no more
Gravell should be dug there. So that what has been, must be
Supposed to have beendonewith yor. Direccon.

If the Governors had been so Good as to excuse what was past
you ought to have been very thankfull. And 'tis probable they might
have done so, if this now waste had not been committed, But this is
such a provocacon, A wilfull and considerate offence against
knowledge and after due warning given That I expect at the
next Grand Committee to have Orders to Comence an Accon against
you for it; Unless you have anything that you would have laid
before the Committee, which you can think will account to an Excuse
for what is done, if you have I desire I may hear from you
by wensday next.

Yors. T:W.
