To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex
in their present General Quarter Sessions of the peace assembled

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of that part of the parish of Saint Andrew
Holborn which he is above the bars in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of an order or pass Warrant under the
Hands and Seals of John Devaynes< no role > and John Collick< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex (one where of
being of the Quorum) bearing date the 9th. day of April last Frances
Costin
< no role > Single woman was removed and conveyed from and out of the
parish of Saint Martin in the fields within the liberty of Westminster
in the said county of Middlesex to the said part of the said parish
of Saint Andrew Holborn as the place of her last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved by
the said Order of the said Two Justices appeal to your
Worships against the same and request that the Benefit
of their said Appeal may be saved unto them until the
next General Sessions of the peace to be holden for the
said County and that all parties concerned may be
then ordered to attend to abide the judgment and
determination of your Worships touching the said Appeal
