To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex

The Humble Petition of Robert Jones< no role >

Sheweth


That Your Petitioner was in the Twenty third
day of this instead October convicted before Henry James Pye< no role >
Esquire one of the Justices of the Peace for the said County of
Middlesex for playing at a certain fraudulent Game called
Hazard contrary to the form of the Statute on an Information
exhibited by one Samuel Clark< no role >

That Your Petitioner hath reason to deem himself
aggrieved by the said Conviction as he is advised and your
Petitioner hath in consequence given Notice of his Intention
to appeal to this Honorable Court

Your Petitioner therefore most humbly
prays that the Magistrates assembled in and
holding the Quarter Session for the Peace for
the said County of Middlesex will allow and
hear your Petitioner said Appeal

And Your Petitioner as in duty bound will ever
Pray Etc.
