to wit}


William Geeves< no role > of Hendon in the said
County one of the overseers of the Poor for
the Parish of Hendon aforesaid maketh Oath and
saith that at the instance of their Deponent
acting in his office of Overseer the Magistrates of
the Police Office in Hatton Garden issued their
Warrent against the Deponent upon an
Examination of Elizabeth Yates< no role > a Parishioner
of Hendon aforesaid taken upon her Oath in
writing declaring herself to be with Child
that such Child was likely to be born a
Bastand and to be chargeable to the Parish of
Hendon and that the Defendant Israel Randall
was the Father of the Child and this Deponent
Further saith that the Defendant has been
apprehended upon the said Warrant and
hath entered into a Recognizance to appear
at the present session to abide by such order
as should be made in the Case and Lastly
this Deponent saith that the said Elizabeth
Yates
< no role > is not yet delivered of the said Bastard
Child with which she is ensient.

2d November 1799 .}
