The King on the prosecution of
William Holmes< no role >
against
Thomas East< no role > for Petty Larceny

Richard Holmes< no role > of Kentish Foron in the
County of Middlesex Tanner maketh oath that Thomas East< no role >
who lived Servant with William Holmes< no role > of Kentish Town
aforesaid Tanner (this Deponents Brother) was apprehended about
three weeks since for Strating a Dog skin the Property of the said
William Holmes< no role > who attended before Mr. Bond one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace in Bow Street to make good
the change against the said Thomas East< no role > and upon the hearing
the said Thomas East< no role > was committed to take his Tryal for the
said Offence and the said William Holmes< no role > bound in a
Recognizance to Prosecute That on Saturday last the said
William Holmes< no role > being in London on Business was struck with
a Paralytic Stoke as he was on Horse back in Portland Street
Wardour Street and in consequence was so extremely ill that
he could not be removed to his House at Kentish Town aforesaid
but was taken to a Friends House in Wardom Street John where
he now remains confined to his Bed and his Life is in great
Danger
