To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the
Peace Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the
Fields in the said County

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order
under the hands and Seals of Gt. Goodenough and J. Hunter
Esquires Two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty fourth day of
December One thousand seven hundred and ninety eight
Jane Houson< no role > aged about 35 years (therein called) Singlewoman was removed and conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the said County to the said
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields as the place of the last
legal Settlement of the said Jane Houson whereby your
Petitioners comence themselves to be aggreived.

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly appeal to
this Court against the Adjudication of the
said Two Justices and their said Order And
pray your Worships will appoint a day in
this present Session for the Hearing and
determining the said Appeal.

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
